It is the policy of SCNA-CEPC and as a part of the approval program
of the SCNA-CEAC that provision is made to supply a certificate of
attendance to each participant who meets the qualifications for
receiving the certificate during the presentation of a CE offering by
SCNA.
In the rare case that there are more attendees at a program
than certificates available, it shall be the responsibility of SCNA to
ensure the delivery of the appropriate certificate of attendance to
those participants who did not receive one at the time of the
presentation of the CE program. This service shall be for SCNA provided
programs only.
There shall be a fee for the replacement and/or
validation of attendance by letter from SCNA for a duplicate copy of a
certificate or letter of validation of attendance. The fee schedule
shall be:
- SCNA Members: No cost (must be a direct member of SCNA, not of an organizational affiliate or coalition to qualify)
- Non-SCNA Members: $25.00 per replacement of certificate or letter of validation of attendance.

There is an automatic service fee to cover postage if you desire your
certificate to be mailed to you. If you do not want your certificate to

Records are maintained in the SCNA office in accordance with the
current policies for record retention of the American Nurses
Credentialing Center. The 2009 ANCC Manual states that records are to be
kept for six years.
SCNA is not responsible for any records that fall outside the limits set for retention by ANCC.
